The two critical stars that were run over in Tokyo, clipped from the Michelin list are; sushi restaurant Araki and Nihombashi eatery Hamadaya. Hamadaya only lost a star, but Araki, once renowned for its sushi has disappeared from the list entirely. It sounds like some politics to me but then again, Michelin is all about politics.
