What a surprise I had when I tasted this wine and it was perfect to accompany the Hokkaido hairy crab. It was a Pinot Gris (reserve) from Okanagan Valley British Colombia. It had a nice intensity, not overly sophisticated, but it was smooth with a lemon vibrancy.
