The first time I saw the name of Eau du Desir in France 10 years ago, at a wine store in the 2nd arrondissement at Place du Victoire. The fragrance sweet fruit, stunning passion fruit with hints of apricot and pear.
The taste comes from the grain blending Junmai Dai Ginjo produced by using Yamada Nishiki, a high quality rice that absorbs water easily.
The fruitiness overwhelms most foods, so I recommend to drink without any food. By the way, this sake is often limited to one per person so make sure you move quickly to get one.
