There are two experiences in Tokyo, very similar but very different, one is riding the subway at rush hour and the other is shopping on a National Holiday. I was in Isetan Shinjuku before I left Tokyo to gather a few supplies for California. This is what it looked like – just insane. While the line ups are incredible, it works faster and better than any other country. Japanese are not afraid to line up for anything.
