The truffle you see is it, veins like a human body and do they make a difference? I cannot be definitive in my answer, but I think so. Some would say, I am still an “amateur”. I guess I am but I know more than most. I spend time, money and energy to learn. The three truffles I tasted are each different, and that is obvious.They are not raw beef, so don’t get confused.
The question is, can the appearance make such a difference, or is it only touch, feel and smell?
After 25 years of truffle enjoyment, I still feel as if I am learning. They are similar to diamonds, fine Cuban cigars,and even body odor, pheromones….
