These cedars are “national treasures” and are over 1200 years old. They are a pair, in the humble setting of a shrine in the Japanese countryside. Split at birth they are co-exist in perfect harmony since 812 A.D. The magnitude of these trees is only felt when you stand under them and see that they tower easily over 60 meters+.
