Venus Clams

We sit at the counter as there are no tables. The chef laughs as I snap away with my iphone, and says in English, “the same fish” and I know what he means. Here the fish are seasonal and no imported fish is used. This time I find a new fish in the repertoire and it is clam, a venus clam, named “ni-hama hamaguri”.
