This wine is smooth and silky yet not a flashy Chablis Vau Ligneau. Vau Ligneau is a Premier Cru-classified The Vau Ligneau slopes face south overlooking a crescent of gently sloping, limestone-rich soils. I thought it was a crowd please’er with nice minerality and good acidity. I adore the wines from Pacalet and I remember meeting him at Roch’s winery in Burgundy. He was a talent and he is a talent that has managed to capture his vision in wine. (93+ Points)
