In the west we take most things for granted, and bridges and roads are commonplace. In this village it took years and years to raise the funds ($10,000) to build this wooden bridge. I crossed it to the other side, to see the local fisherman’s work. Luckily for locals, they can now cross the river without having to ferry across. These small things in life can change the way many people live.
