If you ever have a chance to visit the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, think twice, as it is not worth the 50 minute tour. But if you go during sakura, the surrounding gardens are wonderful and add a dimension of time and space. The green surface algae and slow water’s movement give a contrast against the white sakura. In the background the kids play and it all adds up. This is worthy of a long visit, spend time there and enjoy the varying colors of sakura.
