Even though this post is 889, it reminded me of Soba master and Fugu master Yabe san. I’ve known Yabe san for 15 years or more and I’ve traced his career from Shinjuku to Ginza. His food is an experience but be prepared to eat Supon, Kujira, Fugu or whatever he serves. English barely spoken but the chef can communicate with his ipad. By the way, his New Years boxes are very delectable.
