They say they grow then square to ship them more efficiently and I say, “okay”. So what is the big thing about a miniature watermelon that costs over $40. I am not sure until I take off the skin and see what is going on. Dissecting it, the green on green is the physical attraction. The skin below is light green veins, and the color of the melon meat, pale and rather dull.
I think, it is not meant to be as sweet as those comparisons in the west, not that there is a relevant comparison. The taste is semi-sweet, the meat was medium soft and overall not as good as I expected but I’ll try again.
