Produced exclusively from Merlot, it enjoys the Italian summer sun, and aged in a cellar not less than 24 months in French oak barrels, and another 12 months in bottle.

The Masseto is awesome, round and plump with smooth tannins, a modern wine that lingers on your palate, on and on. The fruit is deep chocolate berry, aromas of head spinning delight. I think this wine is still very young and has many years to go, while I would enjoy it now, I guess it is near the optimum age for drinking.
