As I head back towards the Asian frontier, I recall this daikon I found in Kamakura’s organic market. I didn’t know Japanese radish can get so man-funky. This radish weighed several kilos and had the most unusual features. I think anyone who has experience with Japanese cuisine understands that this human like specimen is not common, a whimsical woo-wee of Japan.
