Satou is a meat shop that serves beef from Matsuzaka, especially popular for its “Menchi Katsu”, a fried meat ball of Matsuzaka ground beef and chopped onions.

Because Satou’s provides a way to taste Matsuzaka’s beef at a very low price, a long line of hundreds of people ensues. So popular are Sato’s cutlets that customers are limited to 20 pieces each on a weekday, and 10 each on a weekend and they often sell out by mid-afternoon.
