The wine making has changed 100% since I first started drinking these wines 30 years ago. Beaucastel used to be musty and rusty, barnyard, filled with Brettanomyces. Nowadays the wine is squeaky clean, pure rich and long ripe fruit. A new breed – a new winemaker generation.
