I was visiting a chef that dry ages beef and had made some claims about his techniques that I thought need investigation. I made my way over to Meguro in a traffic jam that was insane, due to a fire on the highway. It caused 25km back ups on the highway and made the city traffic off the charts.
Entering the building, I saw a sign that pointed to a curry shop. The door looked grubby and the sign made me take a closer look. I entered and quickly got the scoop from the owner Mr. Tada. He works with his wife, a working couple,both smiling with a counter and kitchen that was immaculate.
They make various curries and either hot or cold chai – a place that is worthy of a closer look for casual cuisine or go upstairs to 2nd floor to the Israeli Bistro.
