The Dominus 2007 was served blind and I had never tasted it, or at least I cannot remember ever tasting it. My thoughts were new world California or right bank. The wine is full-bodied, masses of fruit yet a nice backward right bank earthiness.
The Conseillante 2009, a big wine, still so young but it too has a bigger backbone and the structure is tighter and more elegant. I thought it was a great Pomerol with lots of aging potential.
