The stove in Bhutan is a simple and straight forward wood burning stove. No knobs or buttons that turn heat up or down. This is the way people cook here and keeping it simple works best. The foods are mostly indigenous and take a little getting used to. I think the photos give you an idea of the types of traditional foods; buckwheat pancakes, peppers and curries of various types, most made with local cheese. All this takes a little getting used to.
