Foraged @ Bhutan

Bhutan has a variety of spring veggies from the forest but for the most part in central Bhutan (where we travelled) the veggies are more or less the same. The most prominent vegetable forged is fiddle heads, and they are collected from the forests by locals who sell them into “farmers markets” which are weekends, or on the roadside. On our way from Gangtey to Punakha we stopped for road construction and I purchased these greens from a road side vendor.
