Passing the village of Wangdue, I decided to stop and visit the new town which was moved from the roadside. A rather typical village with new medium rise buildings. The residents were forced to move and set up here.
I took a quick walk, a normal Bhutanese village with shops and restaurants. The one thing about small towns in Bhutan, they are mostly for locals and tourists have little to do. I went to a small market which was quiet, and then walked the corner to watch men playing a game of disc billiards. My guide mentioned the Bhutanese name but I was too busy watching the skills of the locals to note it.
