Paro’s Market /lime/

I rode my bike 15 kilometres to the market to find a good selection of raw materials. The market is located in the centre of town, it has various vendors selling fruits, vegetables, meats and other assortments. The picture is lime, red and white lime used for betel nut. The users of betel nut use the leaf and mix the lime with it to get a kick. The lime we are speaking about is not to be confused with the citrus lime. Strictly speaking, lime is calcium oxide or calcium hydroxide and if you try it, it will burn your mouth dry.
