Tenuta di Trinoro /2006/ Bhutan

I was more than lucky my last night in Bhutan to have to myself a bottle of fine Tuscan wine. Luckily the trip finished with some red wine, after we had consumed most of our inventory along the way.

A 2006 Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, the wine was still fresh, no real oxidation or unpleasant aromas at all. No effects from altitude whatsoever. The wine was immense and made perfect sense, there couldn’t have been a better way to finish off the two-week trip.
