An American strip label, a label I had never seen, the importers choice perhaps. When the wine was opened, the first glass whiff, it was very exciting, expressive, a richness of fruit you expect. It seemed very deep, but when I tasted it, I was surprised, it was restrained on the palate, the wine needed some time to open up. We drank it over a few hours, but believe it or not, it was closed and requires more bottle maturity.
