A wine that I cannot recall trying, light weight and bold at the same time. I drove through the vineyards on my way from Megeve to Gstaad.

The Humagne Rouge was once almost extinct, a red wine grape variety originally from the Aosta Valley but now grows in the Valais.

It is worthy of a try – so I will buy some for future tasting.
