Marc is one of the most important chefs of his generation, and a well respected leader in the international world of cuisine. Today he has his own pastoral way of life with his wife who is warm hearted and involved in the farm’s actions. Marc claims as he places his arms around her, “she is a real charm to have put up me all these years”.
The setting is superb and it is obvious when you arrive to the top of the hill. Surrounded by mountain views in the distance, and forests behind the kitchen, the chef and his small team busy trying to please the gourmandes that come from far away to see and meet the ex-Michelin guru.
There is no doubt that Marc has had a life filled with many challenges but he has remained committed to nature. Instead of using butter and cream, he prefers to us roots, mountain plants, herbs and wild flowers harvested in the French Alps.
