D.R.C +++ – video

A small group of friends and a collector from California passed by the kitchen for a drink. The 1993’s are a vintage that seems to have reached the climax and from now the ball is rolling down hill.

The La Tache and Richebourg both showed some obvious signs of aging while the Leroy Richebourg was bubbled with a touch of fizz.

The Leroy was my favorite of the three wines but I still think that DRC’s are best consumed when they reach their peak. Of course this is easy to say about any wine, but DRC wines do peak out more quickly than I like to think.

(La Tache 91 Points)
(Richebourg 92 Points)
(Leroy Richebourg 93 Points)
