Jumilla is a region where wine grapes are abundant and the young Mourvèdre can be faulted due to the “farmyard” flavors that some wines can exhibit before those flavors mellow with age. I was unsure about this wine, as it seemed too reductive but nevertheless intense in color and flavor.
