Sitting in Paris on a Sunday, I was invited to the house of one of the co-authors of ‘Saveur Sauvages de Ré’. This book is filled with numerous spectacular raw materials that would make any chef jealous. This book is dedicated to the islands superb nature and raw materials – never underestimate the potential of mother nature.
Ile de Ré is an island off the west coast of France near La Rochelle, on the northern side of the Pertuis d’Antioche strait on the side of the Atlantic. There you’ll find the most incredible herbs and plant foods, fresh and pure including some of the finest sea salt.
