Walking in the slow food fair there was a designated area for street vendors and it was one stinky area. I guess for many foodies they adore street food vendors and we are not as hot about it. While we travel all over the globe tasting foods, we do try street foods. This vendor at slow food had excellent pasta and other dishes so we stopped in (quickly) to give it a try – a very good concept. Pasta alla cecca (checca) is a pasta dish using fresh, uncooked tomatoes, basil, fresh mozzarella and typically prepared in the summer with fresh ripe tomatoes.
