The dark chlorophyll green leaves of Mizuna offer most of the plant’s nutrition which provide beta carotene, vitamins and minerals. Perhaps one of the best green juice combinations is mizuna, spinach, ginger and apple with a hint of lemon. Mizuna is often called pepper grass but the species in Japan is not nearly as peppery.
2 bunches of Mizuna
1 lemon
1 bunch spinach
Thumb tip of ginger
3 large apples
Note: use a Greenstar only or you risk ruining the vitamins and nutrients by heat from a centrifuge.
