This is a friend’s note traveling in NZ: finally able to try one with some age and I’m happy to report that the Block 3 is aging very gracefully and adding complexity…it still has the fruit forward sweetness that is the hallmark of this vineyard but has added some darker secondary aromas of smoke and leather and is plump and shows very good depth of flavour and a long somewhat acidic finish.
