An amazing wine, it has all the right ingredients for this vintage, and while it seemed fragile, it wasn’t and had the right balance and berry fruit to carry it a long way into the future.

1995 marked a small harvest for Burgundy as a result of poor weather during the flowering, but a fine one despite rain at both ends of the vintage.
