Did you ever think to go to the Collio? I had never ventured to the north of Italy except many years ago when I drove through Germany and landed in the north of Italy. I found it very boring, almost Germanic and sterile, and I promised myself never to return.

But the Collio is so very different, it has charm, fantastic white wines, local cheese, San Daniele prosciutto, and many restaurants that serve some of the finest sea foods, as its close to the sea.

Located in close to the Adriatic sea in the south and on the east Slovenia and in the north Austria, it is perfectly located with the view of the Kern mountains in the horizon.
