This cloud is seen from buccheri as we drove from noto to caltagirone, the vast countryside is green and sprawling. Down the road a large lenticular cloud hangs over the Ionian Sea just east of mount etna and captures our camera lens.

The clouds form as water vapor in the air condenses into liquid water at the same rate at which it evaporates. The condensed water is forms this shaped cloud as it stands still.
