Hakasan opens amidst the crisis and as it happens the construction of the restaurant takes longer than expected. A secret visit to the kitchen to see and meet the head chef, a well-groomed Cantonese chef, named Wei, he demonstrates the induction wok. The kitchen is perfectly designed and built by premier kitchen builder Marrone, a firm from Italy specializing in custom kitchens. We were invited to taste the menu by Sammy Executive chef/co-owner of Nammos Psarou Beach and partner in this new venture. Ling Ling will take Mykonians and visitors to the island by surprise with excellent dim sum and a fantastic Chinese duck salad, a signature dish. I am not a food critic but I give it thumbs up.
