There are few sea foods that have the punch that awabi has. It is one of those unique seafoods enjoyed in so many ways by so many Asian people. In Japan the Japanese adore it raw and raw it is. The cleaning of awabi is simple so you depend on the quality when eaten raw. The liver is sublime and the body is unique.
