In most countries shopping is a matter of fact, and a visit to the grocery shop is routine. In Japan the same applies except when shopping there is an art to filling your shopping basket. For many they are articulate about what goes where to avoid crushing of delicate goods. I too practice a discipline by where I place each article like building blocks. After each item is selected, a re-arranging of the baskets’ goods is necessary and the lightest items find their way to the top. At last checking out is made easier and the packing of your groceries is executed to perfection.
If you notice as the grocery packer selects goods and keeps them at the counter as she distributes them into three paper bags. There is an obvious level of detail and brain work involved and it goes to show that integrity and attention to detail always makes a difference.
