Now compare the western sweets to the Japanese sweets and the difference is more comparable to a Mercedes versus a Fiat. That’s not to say that a Fiat isn’t a great car, but I prefer Mercedes. The detail and finishing of most Japanese sweets is such that they are delicate and while not always light, they are delicious and the ingredients used are added in such a way to increase the aesthetics.
