I am never at a loss for words when I visit Cera, as the quality is “first” rate and the products used are local or better known as kilometer zero. The Kilometer Zero movement started in the Veneto by the Italian agricultural union Coldiretti in 2007, it was an effort to get people to buy their food directly from the farmers, zero kilometers from the producers. To buy from the farms, to buy from farmer’s markets and to eat at restaurants that did the same is what represents the ideology of kilometer zero.
