The sakura will face some rain today but that’s not a serious problem. In fact the wine is a greater challenge for sakura pedals as they fall onto the streets, rivers and almost everywhere. The snow pedals falling from the sakura trees is also an important part of hanami. It is extraordinary to sit under the trees and is just as important as the watching the flowers over water or in a park.
This Sunday (3rd of April) will be cloudy again but warmer, so it could be the best day of this week. The forecast calls for rain on Monday and Tuesday and if it rains with days the flowers will lose their steam. Possibly the last day could be Wednesday as it will likely be water and more sunny. We need to wait and see.
