I remember the first time I saw ceramic was 30+ years ago in Seto where ceramic originated and the Japanese term for it, setomono is also used as a generic term for all pottery. This is an amazing sashimi knife in ceramic and is certainly old stock. In the past it was obviously much more /JPY 45,000/ and today it costs a fraction of this cost due to the advancement in technology and the widespread use of ceramic knives.
