DRC 1972 Richebourg & 1988 St. Vivant

Side by side no, but I tasted them at the same dinner and the 1972 was showing age. Cellared since release the 72 it had an oxidized nose but the mouth was different and it was delicate, light fruit and intense. The 1988 was the opposite, fresh fruit and good length and the colour was redish without any signs of aging. We are lucky to have the opportunity to taste such incredible red wines.

Richebourg 1972 (94 Points)
St. Vivant 1988 (96 Points)
