The idea of DRC is something I adore and La Tache is one of my favourite wines to share – I was grateful to try it. The 1990 is certainly showing signs of age and I admit I was surprised by the wine. – I thought it was slightly thin and had brown edges it was faint. At the same time it is La Tache and derives the respect given the prowess of a unique terroir. I need to try it agin because perhaps this bottle was a miss-hit.
