There was a time when Dario Cecchini was true to his Chianina but over time he abandoned local beef and imported beef from Spain and passed it as the true-blue Beef Steak Fiorentina until he was exposed. Nowadays he runs a circus in Panzano and he has ruined his reputation more than once with pic-nic benches filled with tourists eating set menus.
Anyway (s) ~ the Beef steak Fiorentina remains the pride and joy of Tuscany and many travel the globe to see and taste it. And 20-million tourists each year travel to Florence to see David, a magnificent statue by Michelangelo at Academia ~ see & eat the world’s finest.
