This is one of those wines which takes you back in time, and it has the characteristics of a northern Rhône wine I used to drink 30 years ago. The flavours are hints of Brett, Brettanomyces is a yeast commonly associated with red wine spoilage but this is not spoiled. The fruit is stupendous, aged in the traditional style I loved this wine.
