The was a good glass of 2016 in a vintage that was a catastrophe. Dauvissat had hard manual work and then parts were devastated by mildew and there wasn’t a lot of healthy grapes to press. Some parts were hailed too and it looked like winter in July and less than half a regular harvest and a slightly longer elevage and it was difficult to manage and maintain the barrels as given the volume.
