I ride my bike everyday to the Tsukiji and thankfully they are delayed in moving because of contamination delays of the new site. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government will delay relocating the Tsukiji market for a year because decontaminating the new site is taking longer than expected. Officials had been hoping to move the market from its current location to the Toyosu area of Koto Ward in fiscal 2014. But with the roughly 65 billion yen cleanup effort running behind schedule, they now see little chance of keeping to the current construction timetable.

What will I do when they move….How can I motor there everyday on my small bike when they move further away?….
