The geyser at Noboribestsu’s town gushes water at a velocity of 600 liters per hour which seems very little and I question this statistic.
It can shoot up to 8 meters high at temperatures in excess of 80C and you can see it rumbling with a power that is impressive. The geyser in Sengen Park, which is down the road from Hell Valley’s entrance erupts every 3/4 hours and entertains visitors with white steam rising up and the thundering sound.
