We sat around the table after enjoying some Fugu and tasted the Corton Charlemagne produced by Philippe Pacalet. The wine is soaked with oak to the maximum and just too young as the fruit bulges from the glass. I think it is just too big for its own good but note worthy and jammed full of long life. I cannot say that fugu and Corton is the best bet and in the end this wine is just a baby. (94+ Points)
